This instructor-led class is necessary for building a foundation for a career as a property claims professional. Course content includes property claims fundamentals (including the claims process), policy analysis, property loss investigation, construction techniques, damage assessment, Xactimate estimating, personal property claims, time element and industry standards, and specific client claim handling.
Participants are given the opportunity to apply what they learn to case studies involving actual field property loss adjusting.
Prestudy: The course requires a pre-study of 80-100 hours and includes a pre-course assessment, topic specific quizzes, and a final project. Participants must have a current adjuster’s license to register for this class. This course is required for new adjuster trainees and requires pre-study that must be completed prior to attending class.
