This course consists of two modules which will introduce you to the function, terms, style, materials, damageability, reparability, measurement, and estimating of residential countertops.

The first countertop module contains segments on function, terms, styles, and materials. It will provide you with the knowledge you need to discuss countertop function, terms, and style, as well as describe the common materials of countertops installed in residential buildings. The second countertop module contains segments on damageability, reparability, and estimating. This module will provide you with the knowledge you need to discuss countertop damages, repair options, and key specifications; as well as estimate the replacement of countertops installed in residential buildings. It is important that you understand these factors so you can assess a loss to residential countertops and be able to competently discuss damageability and reparability with key persons such as customers and those who would repair the damages.
